Comprehensive action program to end the trafficking of tribals for  forced labor. Successfully closed down the bonded labor system. Took  up several programs for rehabilitation of the trafficking victim  tribal families as well as the Western Ghat mountains destroyed by  illegal charcoal making. Has been running a residential school for 415  children of the trafficking victim tribal labor since 1987 in the Raigad district of Maharashtra state. The school bagged i) INR 2,50,000/- Best Ashramshala (residential school for tribals) Award of  the State Government in the entire Konkan & Pune region in 2005 and  ii) the school is the sports champion for 11 years.
